Whilst out looking for an elusive Kingfisher, we came across this which I am reliably informed is a Four Spotted Chaser (Libellula quadrimaculata)! I just liked it, and this is the best of the hundred photos I took of it!

We stopped for a coffee (well Jane had a beer!) by a lake and the café had a few flowers. I just happened to see these bees and was lucky enough to catch this bee just going into a flower.
By the pool where we were on holiday, I spotted this wasp that had died (probably in the heat) being dragged by an ant back to its nest for the rest to share a feast.
Out on a walk on holiday in France, I spent a good half an hour following these blue butterflies and got lots of photographs of flowers where the butterfly had been, and finally I got one that I think looks good!
