Peregrine Falcons

Peregrine Falcons
Had a great day at Malham Cove, and the Peregrine Falcons were absolutely amazing. The adult pair have had four chicks this year and they’ve already fledged after only a month!

I wish I had a 500mm lens, but even with my 200mm one I got some very pleasing photos. As well as watching them in flight, from the top of the cove one came back with a pigeon, which it ate (the whole thing) and then proceeded to fly and pass some of the bits to the chicks whilst in the air. They really are the most amazing birds to watch.

You can see a selection of the ones I took here in my gallery.
