Not something I expect to see in Yorkshire. Went to Harewood house hoping to get some Red Kite shots, but they weren’t playing. I like the colour on this so thought I’d add it.

What a beautiful bird the Great Crested Grebe is, and I love this one, with it’s striking red eyes, particularly the one on the side of the sun. Watching them fishing was a delight, and we were even treated to their “weed dance”, which was fantastic but not of my shots made the grade, unlike…
